New Member Enrollment
Membership in the Registry for College
and University Presidents is by invitation; and in the
Presidential Division is restricted to former presidents.
The Registry obtains candidates for membership in several
ways, including nominations by associations or friends;
direct inquiry and application: and by the Registry's
awareness of retirements of accomplished and highly-qualified
presidents. Prospective members are provided with an
orientation related to the requirements, commitments,
and expectations of membership. Prospective members
are then are asked to submit a detailed resume, along
with at least six references covering the major facets
of their careers. References are fully checked before
the execution of a membership contract.
